The Commonwealth Games

After four years of pure anticipation, everyone’s favourite sporting event; The Commonwealth Games has arrived, and not without scandal. For starters the opening ceremony was last night, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was widely criticised for lacking enthusiasm about the proceedings. Australian Olympics captain Sally Pearson was ruled out of competition, and there was public transport chaos trying to get to the event. But most prominently were the Stolenwealth protests that have accompanied the Gold Coast games every step of the way.

Virtual Instagram Models

Real life or reality? Driver less cars, virtual reality and chat bots are starting to push our buttons, so are we surprised it’s now touched the modelling world? An artist has come forward as the human behind a successful Instagram and brand model who was virtually created as “artistic expression” but had us believe they were real! Question is – does social media already portray a “virtual” world of our real lives, so is this any different?

Rick and Morty’s Bushworld Adventures

This week in an unprecedented zinger Adult Swim has pulled a fast one on Rick and Morty fans. People were waiting with baited breath to see what they were going to pull after last years season three surprise premiere. What we got was a Michael Cusack original take on an episode of Rick and Morty. The show features the same titular characters as the original but is set in Australia. The Episode as you can expect is super offensive and over the line in many ways which is turning many off it. Especially the Mayor of Bendigo.

Man Gets The Worst Gonorrhoea

America’s opioid crisis, is weed the answer? A study has found doctors prescribe opioid medicines like OxyContin and Percocet, 15% less in states where medicinal cannabis is legal. Can this make a dent in the thousands of deaths annually due to opioid drugs?

We certainly don’t have all the answers, but we’ll never let that stop us! Thanks for spending time with us, shout us out to a few mates and we’ll buy you an ice cream or something. Love you! Telling a friend would be the best, or just hit us up on YouTube or Facebook. Lots of love.
