Fergie sucks at the national anthem, the queen attends fashion week and can we talk about Adam Rippon’s butt.

This week Fergie had the honour of singing the national anthem at the NBA All Stars event. And in true Fergie style, she couldn’t just keep it normal. Instead it’s a train wreck of jazz inspired, sexy eyed drama. No one knew where to look or how to act.

Fake News Apps, Aussie teaming up with Nasa and Apple employees walking into glass doors

In tech news this week, Ev discovers a new app that is supposed to teach you how to spot fake news online. Developed by a team of journalists, media experts and academics from Cambridge it walks you through a fake scenario where you must spread misinformation in order to build your new fake following. The question is, is it really teaching people to spot fake news, or laying down a path for innocent people to follow.

In other tech news an Aussie company from The Gold Coast have signed the first Space Act Agreement with Nasa (a first for an Aussie company that is).Which means they’ll be teaming up to create a specialist rover that will extract water from Mars in as little as 2024.

And while Aussie’s are devising ways to sustain life on Mars, Apple employees are having trouble spotting walls and doors at the new Apple Headquarters in silicon valley due to everything being made of glass. In true Apple style it’s design over function.

Real Life Sharknado, disappearing roads in China and goats getting prosecuting

Firstly a goat was arrested and prosecuted in Chhattisgarh on Monday for ‘raiding’ a senior bureaucrats garden. Said goat was later granted bail after being produced in court. Now it’s not this goats first rodeo… it’s been accused before of eating plants, flowers and vegetables. The jury’s still out on this one.

Meanwhile in Whitsable in the UK on a sunny Tuesday morning, James Hill heard a thud outside his kitchen window while making tea. Going out to investigate he found a shark in his backyard – yes, a shark, yes like Sharknado.

Finally, to top it all off, a road has disappeared in China (as if China wasn’t weird enough). A man only known as Zhu is believed to have ploughed up the 800 metre by 3.5 metre wide stretch of road in order to sell it. We’re still not sure if he could have made much profit of that.

Black Sam Bellamy Remains Possibly Found

This week what is believed to be Black Sam Bellamy’s remains have been found. Barry Clifford and his crew has discovered the bones in the old wreck of the infamous Whydah Gally slave ship. The last ship he owned as he took it to the grave. Sam Bellamy is know as one of the most successful pirates racking up $120 Million and 53 ships in just one year of piracy.

Well it was a blast hanging with the girl crew this week. Give us a shout out if you want to see the girls more often. And make sure you do all the things you should do like subscribe, like and share
